Gr 12. Tessa Beauchamp BC Grad Scholarship: This $1000 award was established to honor and remember Tessa Beauchamp. Through adversity and hardship, Tessa displayed strength and courage, and demonstrated empathy and support for others while striving to be the best that she could be. Deadline: June 15th, 2016. Gr 8-12. Volunteers for Car Free Days: This year’s festivals will be taking place along Commercial Drive, Main St, and Denman St on June 18 and 19. Looking for community-minded, fun-loving volunteers who want to use their skills to benefit others. The fun includes food, music and a volunteer after-party.
